About

Built by people who watched too many good academies struggle with bad tools

FlikVault exists because cricket academies deserve software that fits the way they work — not a sports-management platform retrofitted from football.

The thing we kept seeing

Across academies in Australia and India, we kept seeing the same picture: serious cricket programs being held together by a head coach's phone and a director's spreadsheet. Brilliant coaching staff spending Sunday evenings reconciling attendance sheets. Parents chasing invoices on three different threads. Reports written from memory the night before they were due. Senior coaches walking away and taking the academy's history with them.

None of these academies had bad people running them. They had good people fighting against tools that didn't exist. The off-the-shelf academy software was built for football, soccer, or generic youth sports — “cricket support” meant calling the squad “the team” and hiding fields they didn't need. The custom systems we saw were either spreadsheets glued together with goodwill or half-finished consultant builds nobody could maintain.

Why we built our own

We could have wrapped a third-party AMS in cricket-flavoured branding. We didn't. FlikVault is built ground-up around the way cricket academies actually work — squads by format, persona-driven player development, the specific rhythm of term-based training, the role of video in modern coaching. The data model knows what a red-ball squad is and what a wicketkeeper's report should contain. The video pipeline understands a delivery and a shot. The fee structure handles sibling discounts and scholarships natively because every cricket academy needs both.

We also built it as part of a wider platform — CricketMind — which connects FlikVault to SKrutin (our cricket vision engine) and STAKES (a social platform for cricketers). That means academies on FlikVault get AI-powered video analysis without integrating a second product. As CricketMind matures, players will move between academy, social, and analysis with a single identity — but each product stands on its own first.

How we work with academies

We work in close partnership with our launch academies. Decisions about features, templates, workflows, and report formats are tested on real squads with real coaches before they ship to everyone. We keep the customer count deliberately small in year one because we'd rather get it right with three academies than half-right with thirty.

We don't do contract negotiation theatre. Pricing is consistent, the product roadmap is shared with customers, and we're honest about what FlikVault does and doesn't do today.

Who we're for

We're for academy directors and head coaches who already know what good operations look like and are tired of doing them in spreadsheets. We're for parent organisations and state associations running multiple sites who need a system that respects org structure. We're for academies in Australia, India, the UK, NZ, and South Africa — anywhere serious cricket is taught.

We're probably not for hobby groups, recreational programs run out of a community centre, or academies still finding their feet. FlikVault is for academies that want to operate at a higher standard.

Where we are

FlikVault went live in production in April 2026. Our first academies are based in Melbourne (Australia) and Bengaluru (India), and we're expanding from there in considered steps. The platform runs on managed cloud infrastructure with daily backups, encrypted data at rest, and audit-grade change logs.

If you're running an academy and any of this resonates, we'd love to talk.
