What is FlikVault?
FlikVault is an academy management system (AMS) built specifically for cricket academies. It handles session planning, attendance, billing, player reports, parent communication, and AI-powered video analysis from one platform.
How is FlikVault different from generic sports academy software?
FlikVault is cricket-first. The data model, report templates, persona ratings, video pipeline, and session structures are built around how cricket academies actually train — not adapted from football or basketball software. Generic platforms hide fields you don't need; FlikVault asks for the things you do.
Where does FlikVault sit in the CricketMind family?
CricketMind is the platform; FlikVault is the academy management product. SKrutin (cricket vision AI) and STAKES (social for cricketers) are sister products that integrate with FlikVault. Customers don't need to use the others to get value from FlikVault.
Setup and onboarding
How long does onboarding take?
A typical academy is fully provisioned within one business day of demo confirmation. Coach training takes one session of about an hour. Parents are auto-invited via email. If you have historical data — attendance, reports, invoices — we migrate it with you over the first week.
Do you migrate our existing data?
Yes. We import attendance history, fee records, player rosters, and (where available) past report PDFs into the FlikVault database. Where data is in spreadsheets we work with you to map it; where data is in another platform we have export-import scripts for the common ones.
What devices do coaches need?
A modern smartphone (iOS or Android) for the coach app. The director uses a web browser on any device. Parents and players use a mobile-friendly web portal — no app install required, although a PWA install is available.
Features and capability
Can FlikVault handle multiple sites or affiliated clubs?
Yes. The Network tier supports a parent organisation with multiple child academies, with cross-site reporting and per-site permissions. State associations and federations use this structure.
Does the video AI work with phone-shot video?
Yes. FlikVault's video pipeline (powered by SKrutin) is designed for phone-shot training video. Specific functions like ball tracking work best with stable camera angles, but pose estimation, slow-mo, and AI coach notes work on standard phone footage.
Can we customise the report template?
Yes. On Growth and Network tiers, report templates can be customised to your academy's rating scales, terminology, and branding. We support cricket-specific personas (top-order anchor, pace bowler, wicketkeeper-batter, etc.) out of the box.
Pricing and contracts
How is pricing structured?
Three tiers — Starter (up to ~100 players), Growth (up to ~300), and Network (multi-site / unlimited). Pricing scales by player count and feature depth. Video AI is included on every paid plan, with monthly minute allocations per tier.
Why don't you publish prices?
Pricing depends on more than player count — multi-currency requirements, data migration scope, custom report templates, and integration needs all matter. A fully public price grid would be wrong for half of our customers. In a 30-minute demo we quote you a real number.
Is there a free trial?
We don't offer a self-service free trial because real onboarding involves migrating your data and structure. Instead, we offer a free demo and a no-obligation first-term pilot for academies that fit. Talk to us.
Data and security
Where is our data stored?
On managed cloud infrastructure with regional data residency. Australian academies' data is stored in Australia (Sydney region by default). Indian academies' data is stored in a region appropriate to your compliance posture. We can discuss specific requirements during the demo.
Who owns the data?
You do. Your academy's data is yours, exportable at any time in standard formats. We don't sell data, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising.
How do you handle minors' data?
Player data and especially video involving minors is treated as sensitive. Consent is captured during intake and preserved against every record. Access is permission-aware: parents see only their children's data, coaches see only their squads, and directors see only their academies. We follow region-appropriate child-safety obligations.
Do you have an audit log?
Yes. Every change to attendance, billing, reports, and player records is timestamped, attributed, and exportable. This is what most governing bodies and scholarship sponsors increasingly require, and it's on by default — not an upgrade.
